Mulberry Fall RTW 2012

What do you feel when you hear "Mulberry"??? For me it's Associated with women's handbags and not only. For Fall RTW 2012 Mulberry presented collection inspiration was "Where The Wild Things Are". On the catwalks models wore Aztec zig-zags and tie-dye tiger prints covered coats and below-the-knee skirts, supersized sheepskin shrouded delicate lace slips underneath in a play on proportions.
“I’m always obsessed by movies and so we took some of Tim Walker’s The Lost Explorer as well as I wanted it to be really textural with hand knits and different types of fur. We’re a British company so I wanted to make the outerwear really strong. I always think a winter show should actually be for winter,” said Mulberry creative director Emma Hill after the show.
Today also Mulberry debuted a new bag "The Del Rey". It inspired by American songstress Lana Del Rey. Lana has mastered the style of Old Hollywood, mixing it with an edgy sense of fun. She arrived at Mulberry show with her bespoke White Ostrich "Del Rey" bag. This exciting new addition launches in May as part of Mulberry Autumn Winter 2012 collection.
