On 17th november in 1961 photographer Douglas Kirkland spent just a few hours working with the world’s biggest movie star, Marilyn Monroe, in a small Hollywood studio. Photo shoot was for Look's magazine 25th anniversary issue. After this photo shoot photographer became famous.
