Fashion Inspirations

Left you can see Frida Kahlo photo shoot by Frida's father Guillermo Kahlo in 1926, this photo was inspiration for Givenchy Fall RTW 2011/12 collection. In this look we can see similarities in the flower, the dress and the hairstyle.

For Miu Miu Fall RTW 2011/12 got inspiration from early 40s years, because the same idea of chic we can see  on the left of Katharine Hepburn's photo which shoot in 1938. Similarities can be noticed in the bold shoulders, the use of double collars and in the hairstyle.

Three shoot round same idea "Mirror on the wall" but first was Gabrielle Coco Chanel. She photographed in 1957 at her atelier and was inspiration for next two Adv Campaign. Dolce&Gabbana Fall RTW 2005/06

For Prada menswear S/S 2012 Adv Campaign was inspired fifties collection but for shoot we can see similarities with Elvis Presley's backstage photo which shoot during the movie "Jailhouse Rock" in 1957.

Balenciaga traveled us in to past and for Fall Winter 2006/07 for label was inspiration a voluminous white gazar double-breasted evening cape which designed in 1963 by Cristòbal Balenciaga.

Bergdorf Goodman look which designed in 1963 was inspiration for Jean Paul Gaultier Fall Winter 2011/12.

The fractographic 'chevron pattern' has always been an expression of modernism and modernist fashion like in this 60s outfit worn by model Patti Boyd and photographed by Brian Duffy for Vogue UK in 1965,and this shoot was inspiration for  Marni S/S 2012.



Balenciaga look 1967 Stella McCartney presented for S/S 2011 Resort into red colour.

Cristobal Balenciaga designed amazing wedding gown headpiece in 1967 after years it was  inspiration for Balenciaga S/S 2008 And S/S 2012 collection.

 Pierre Cardin outfit photo shoot by Guy Bourdin for Vogue France in 1968 and an outfit from Rick Owens' collection for Fall Winter 2011/12.

A photo shoot by Barry Lategan for Vogue UK in 1974 was inspiration for Blugirl's collection Fall Winter 2011/12.

 The Max Mara icon coat a double-breasted coat in beaver wool and cashmere, was created in 1981 by Anna Marie Beretta and is today considered a cult for every fashionists worldwide. This cult was 
re- inspiration for Stella McCartney's Fall RTW 2011/12 collection.

Naomi Campbell in a wonderful double breasted coat in a Prada advertisement from 1994 , and a wide-belted and big-buttoned new version of it for Fall Winter 2011/12. 

A beautiful black Chantilly-lace mask from the collection Valentino Couture Fall Winter 1976/77 shoot by David Bailey for Vogue Italia was inspiration of similar look for Jason Wu's Fall Winter 2011/12.

 Look detail from photo shoot Yohji Yamamoto collection in 2003 was inspiration for Proenza Schouler S/S 2010.

 Outfit with ballet details from Chloé's S/S 2011 collection, was inspiration for Derek Lam Fall Winter 2011/12.

Prada S/S 2010 was inspiration for Rodarte Fall Winter 2011/12.
